Samuel Tamakloe graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 1993 with a Diploma in Data Processing. He proceeded to Kingston University, London to pursue a Masters degree in
Data Communication and Networks in 2005.

Mr. Tamakloe has considerable experience in computer programming and software development and administration. He started his working life with Yellow Cab Company (Gh.) Limited as a computer programmer.

He joined On-Line Computer Software a local software developing company as Project coordinator after which he worked with John Bitar Co. Limited Sekondi and On-Line Computer Solutions as Systems Analyst and Office Manager respectively before moving into the financial services.

He joined First Atlantic Merchant Bank from On-Line Computer Solutions. He later joined Vanguard Assurance from Unibank Ghana Limited in 2001, where he was part of the pioneers who setup the bank.
